ABOUT US:
Grow Against Poverty is a registered 501 (c) 3 nonprofit that supports education and community development projects in Kenya. For 13 years GAP has been funding school projects such as a bicycle transportation program, organic gardens and computer technology classes. In the communities projects include farmer aid, COVID-19 relief, women's health workshops, construction of a community building for Grow Against Poverty-Kenya, water tank installations, and assisting families in starting small poultry and goat farms.

GROW AGAINST POVERTY PROJECTS
COVID-19 Relief:
G.A.P. funds provided

jembes (hoes) for
103 families
(over 700 people).
G.A.P. has purchased 300 bicycles that students at 7 high schools are borrowing so they can ride instead of walk 5-6 miles to and from school. Attendance and academics have improved.
FUNDING FOR A TWELVE STATION COMPUTER LAB
A LUNCH PROGRAM HELPS INCREASE SCHOOL ATTENDANCE
Organic gardens have been planted by students at 11 schools and instructors hired to teach agriculture classes. Produce enhances the schools' meal programs.

ALL MONEY GOES TO PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS. THERE ARE NO ADMINISTRATION, FUND RAISING, OR OTHER COSTS.
